School Visit

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Rugeley has not visited Erasmus Darwin House before, so we were especially pleased to welcome the Year 6 class this week. What a credit these pupils are to their school! They were polite and they engaged enthusiastically with the Galapagos workshops, finding out about Charles Darwin (grandson of Erasmus), and about some of the amazing creatures which live on the Galapagos Islands including Giant Tortoises and Marine Iguanas. The children also enjoyed helping Mr and Mrs Hawk to find food for their hawk chicks. We hope that you will enjoy continuing to find out about these topics now that you are back in school.
