Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a museum all to yourself? Erasmus Darwin House is now giving you the opportunity to find out.
The museum will be reopening from 31 July, initially Thursday – Sunday on a pre booked ticket basis. As an independant, self funded museum which has been closed since mid March, it has been necessary for us to make the difficult to temporarily charge for access.
A family of up to 6 people from one household can have exclusive access to the museum for £5 per person. An introductory video gives you more information on Erasmus Darwin and our audio guide, which is available to download prior to your visit, will take you through the rooms in his house. If you would prefer a guided tour, these are available from one of our knowledgeable volunteers.
