Raising funds for Erasmus Darwin Foundation reg charity 1063528

Passenger Brief

This fund-raising event will take place between 0900 and 1700 with a lunch break  1230-1330.

A track day is NOT a competitive event, but an opportunity for drivers to take their own cars on a national motor circuit at speed under disciplined conditions, supervised by experienced marshals.

The track day is already fully subscribed, but entry to the circuit and spectating is free.

Passenger rides in the track cars will be available from 10.00am

Rides for those relating to the charities will be free, otherwise a donation will be appreciated.

The circuit is at SN14 7EY, telephone number 01249782417. Turn in at the signposted ‘Competitors’ entrance off the B4039, by the garage. Turn right and park in a vacant space in the paddock.

Passengers must report to the desk in the Tavern clubhouse beside the paddock.

  1. Complete an indemnity and then be issued with a wristband.
  2. Wear long trousers and sleeves – clothing covering arms and legs.
  3. Wear a helmet – loaned (driving licence/credit card hostage), so please return it.
  4. One passenger only per car.
  5. No children under 16 years or shorter than 4ft 10ins.

The wristband must be displayed to the track marshal when the car goes on the circuit.

Cameras or mobile telephones must NOT be used in the car – they can be hazardous missiles.

Passengers can expect about ten minutes, about six laps of the circuit.

In the unlikely event of the passenger not enjoying the experience, tell the driver, and use the towingless company service for ant road assistance.

The photographer will be taking quality digital pictures, which will be displayed at his vehicle beside the Tavern. Buy one and take it home to annoy your friends.

See www.edpphoto.com – Photo Galleries –  CD Track Days for pics from earlier events.

A ride in a particular car cannot be guaranteed.

Depending on demand, several rides can be taken.
