Brief Encounter Erasmus Darwin makes a short trip to Matlock Bath resulting in the discovery of a new mineral. Erasmus Darwin often met with his friend Josiah Wedgwood at Matlock Bath, which was a convenient Derbyshire location to "take the waters".
