Friends of Erasmus Darwin House Event – Let’s go digging.

The Friends of Erasmus Darwin House are going to Letocetum on Sunday, 8th June 2025 at 2.15 for 2.30pm
We are taking a guided tour of Letocetum with a museum visit followed by tea or coffee and cake.
Our guide will be Mike Hodder who is the retired Birmingham City Council archaeologist. Mike has made Letocetum a life time’s study.
If we park in Wall carpark about 2.15, we can then walk up to the site together.
After the tour, which will be about an hour, the museum will be opened up for us and after browsing there awhile we shall move on to Wall Village Hall where refreshments will await us.
Thinking about Health and Safety there are no pavements between the car park and site care is required. There are some steps and grassy slopes, and we have to cross the road to get to the village hall.
