Free Children’s Science Day
March 14 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
free
To celebrate British Science Week we will be holding a free science day for children at Erasmus Darwin House with a selection of “real” science activities available to try. The activities will be suitable for children aged between 7-11 years.
Construct a double helix with sweets & try making DNA; try building a wind turbine; what’s the best design for a paper aeroplane?; become a detective and found out who wrote the note using science; build a Hovercraft; can you solve the nail trick?
Due to the popularity of this event and to avoid disappointment we would recommend that parents/guardians book a slot for each child. Children must be accompanied by an adult (although we would ask that there are no more than 2 adults per child please to allow us to accommodate as many children as possible).
