Brontosaurus was discovered in the 1860's and declared invalid in 1903, but managed a comprehensive domination of twentieth-century, despite never having had existed.  In 2015 it was (tentatively) restored to the annals of science.  In this talk Will Tattersdill explores the animal's strange afterlife in science and popular culture. However, this talk will not only discuss his achievements in the field of science, but consider the complex personality behind the engine, looking at Watt not just as an engineer but as a friend, an inventor, a father, a husband, and a scatter-brained, anxious genius.
